INTRODUCTION

1. What is the Deal Center?

The CGA Deal Center is a matchmaking platform where users post projects and/or investor information.

Registered users can create and view projects and investor information, update posted information, bookmark interested projects and directly contact other users through our internal messenger service.

2. Who may use the Deal Center?

Anyone can sign up to register an account for free.

3. Are there any limits on the projects that I post? Is there a minimum or maximum investment amount?

No. There are no limits regarding investment amount, type, location or industry, as long as it is a legitimate opportunity available to investors.

4. If I have an investment opportunity in an industry which is not listed on the website, can I still post it?

Yes. When posting the project, select “Others” in the dropdown menu of “Primary Industry” and provide an industry name in the web form that appears below the dropdown menu.

5. In what languages is Deal Center content made available? Does CGA translate content?

Content posted to the Deal Center is available in Chinese and/or English. We only translate titles. If you would like your content translated, please contact contactus@ChinaGoAbroad.com and we would be pleased to refer you to qualified translation service providers.

REGISTRATION & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

1. How do I register an account with the Deal Center?

You can access the registration page here.

Use the web form to enter your:

  • personal details (buyer/seller, name and e-mail address, password); and
  • company details (title, company name, address, contact information, and website).

2. How do I update the information on my account?

First sign in to the Deal Center. Then:

  • Click on your account name (near top right corner of any page).
  • Click “Profile” to access your account profile.

Use the web form to update your information directly.

POSTING

1. What are the fees for posting projects?

CGA contributing members can post an unlimited number of projects for free. To learn more about becoming a CGA contributing member, please see our Membership Policy.

Other users may post a project for US$50 or RMB 300 for 90 days.

2. What payment methods does the Deal Center accept?

We currently accept payments made via PayPal, transfers from Alipay and PayPal, and bank wire transfers.

3. How do I create a new project?

Click Project (which is on the far right of all pages of the Deal Center) or View Projects at the top of the Deal Center’s homepage to go to the project list. Then click on Post a Project.

To create a project, you need to fill out the following information:

Primary Language

Enter project information; you must provide Title, Project Location, Primary Industry, Investment Amount, Investment Type and Project Description. When you are finished, click “Proceed.”

Secondary Language

You are strongly recommended to provide information in both Chinese and English for exposure to more investors. Click Proceed after completing the form.

If the details are not available in both languages, click “Skip this step.”

Uploading

Upload attachments in PDF or ZIP format. Files in Word or other formats must be converted into these formats.

Preview

Make sure your project information is correct and complete before clicking Continue to Pay.

Payment

Contributing members of ChinaGoAbroad.com can post unlimited projects free of charge. Other users may post a project for US$50 or RMB 300 for 90 days. Click here for membership details.

Success

Your project will go online within 1 working day of successful online payment and within 3 working days of successful money transfer.

4. How to view/update posted information?

  • Click your account (top right corner of any page, i.e., your name)
  • Click My Projects or My Requirements to view published and unpublished information.
  • Click Edit
  • Chinese version: Click Edit Chinese Version at the top of the page and click Save after editing.
  • English version: Click Edit English Version at the top of the page and click Save after editing.
  • Edit uploaded attachments: Click Edit Attachments and click Save after editing.

5. Do any fees apply when posting investor information?

No. All users can post unlimited investor information.

6. How do I post investor information?

Click Investors (which is on the far right of all pages of the Deal Center) or View Investors at top of the Deal Center’s homepage to go to a list of investor information. Then click on Provide Your Investor Info.

To upload investor information, you need to fill out the following:

Primary Language

You must provide Title, Nature of Investor, Main Office Location, Interested Countries/Regions, Interested Industries, Interested Service Areas, Experience in Outbound Investment.

Secondary Language

You are strongly recommended to provide information in both Chinese and English for exposure to more project owners. Click Proceed after completing the form.

If the details are not available in both languages, click “Skip this step.”

Uploading

Upload attachments in PDF or ZIP format. Files in Word or other formats must be converted into these formats.

Preview

Make sure your investor information is correct and complete before clicking Publish.

Assessment

All users can post unlimited investor information, which will first be reviewed by the CGA team before being posted online.

7. I would prefer my investment opportunity to remain confidential. Is this possible?

Yes. ChinaGoAbroad maintains a portfolio of offline projects. Please send an email to contactus@ChinaGoAbroad.com for such confidential services.

8. Can I receive additional consulting or support regarding my investment opportunity?

Yes. ChinaGoAbroad offers services from matchmaking to executing investment. For details please send an email to contactus@ChinaGoAbroad.com.

FILTERING & BOOKMARKING PROJECTS & REQUIREMENTS; CONTACTING

1. How can I filter projects?

Filter projects by keywords, country, industry and/or investment amount using the dropdown menus on the Projects page.

2. How do I filter investor information?

Filter investor information by industry using the dropdown menu on the Investor Info page.

3. How do I bookmark a project I like?

  • Click the project title you wish to view or click View Details.
  • Click Bookmark on the right of the page. Click again to remove bookmark.

4. How do I view/delete the projects I’ve bookmarked?

  • Click your account (top right corner of any page, i.e., your name).
  • Click My Bookmarks to view the projects you have bookmarked.
  • View: Click the title of the project you wish to view, or click View Details.
  • Unbookmark: Click Unbookmark on the My Bookmarks page to remove a bookmark.

5. How do I contact another user?

When you go to the Projects or Investor Info list:

  • Click View Details.
  • Click Contact on the right.
  • A web contact form appears.
  • Fill in the Message box.
  • Click “Submit.”
  • Your message will be sent through our internal message service to the recipient, i.e., poster of projects and investor information.
  • The recipient (i.e. publisher) can then reply to your message through the Deal Center.

HELP

1. Why am I having trouble logging in?

You might be signing in to the Deal Center with your account for the CGA website. All users need to register a separate Deal Center account. Anyone can sign up for free, and it only takes a few minutes.

2. What if I need further assistance? How can I contact the Deal Center?
